About The Author

Kelsey Villeret was only 18 years old when her debut poetry collection, Efflorescence, was published. She attended Louisiana State University and earned her Bachelor of Arts in English in 2024. Afterwards, she went on to teach English at the high school level in New Orleans, Louisiana. She has since earned her paralegal certification from Loyola University of New Orleans and works as a legal assistant in the Central Business District. She now focuses her craft on writing fiction with a concentration on themes of the Louisiana South.
